Day 1

Seoul (09:00am-19:00pm)

Meet up with tour guide at hotel lobby. The first visit is Jogyesa Temple, the chief temple of the Jogye Order of Korean Buddhism, becoming so in 1936. It thus plays a leading role in the current state of Seon Buddhism in South Korea. Next visit is the Gyeongbokgung Palace, arguably the most beautiful and the grandest of all five palaces and then explore The National Folk Museum of Korea and enjoy The Changing of the Royal Guard Ceremony. Continue to Pass by Blue House, known as Cheong WaDae, the Presidential Residence. Then enjoy lunch at Insadong traditional restaurant. After lunch, move on to Yongin, a village of the late Joseon Dynasty has been vividly recreated here and visit Korean Folk Village which you can see traditional houses, farmers’ music, traditional wedding ceremonies and acrobatics on a tightrope. After the tour, you will return back to your hotel in Seoul.
