Question:
What is the difference between the professional (02970) and the standard(02910) (aside from the included cones)?
Answer:
About the only difference is the size of the chute that you load. It will take a whole potato while the standard one will take 1/2 of a potato. I like the bigger chute myself. It’s a time saver. By Eleanor on October 6, 2014
The professional model is more powerful and worth the extra expense . . . The standard model bogs down when grating some foods. By Kindle Customer on October 6, 2014
The professional is bigger and more powerful. Gets the job done quicker. By junebug on October 6, 2014
From using it I can see no difference except the additional cone. By E. Giovengo on October 9, 2014

Question:
Does it allow you to make long thin slices (spaghetti style) or long ribbons of a single piece (cucumber ribbon)? Thanks.
Answer:
No, the cutting wheel rotates and cuts them small. By Kindle Customer on January 21, 2014
there are numerous “spiralizers” on sale at Amazon. There are types that are almost like machines, and some that are almost like little manual pencil sharpeners. The one favored by most reviewers is by Paderno. This one is very handy, but it doesn’t make long “noodle” type strands By HR Hamada on December 29, 2014
